Love amazing-looking vehicles and other rides? If you do, then the Washington Auto Show is an event to check out! The Washington Auto Show kicks off on January 26, 2018, and runs through February 4, 2018. The Auto Show features luxury vehicles, production vehicles, concept cars, and more. Here’s our list of the show’s not-to-miss events!

Hyundai “Hands On” Contest

A yearly tradition at the Washington Auto Show, this contest requires some continual touches to win that brand new Hyundai vehicle. Last year, the winner of the “Hands On” contest drove away with a 2017 Hyundai Tucson SE.

“ART-of-Motion” Exhibition

Noted as “A Visual Art and Fashion Exhibition,” the ART-of-Motion exhibit features many artists and is considered “an avant-garde design experience that benefits the culture and imagination of the Washington, D.C., area, as it hosts a tier-one show on the global auto show circuit.” The ART-of-Motion feature will be located on the upper tier of the three-level Walter E. Washington Convention Center at

Celebrities & Guest Appearances

There will be a new celebrity guest every day at the Washington Auto Show. Some of these sports celebrities include Tom Wilson of the Washington Capitals, Otto Porter of the Washington Wizards, Josh Norman of the Washington Redskins, cheerleaders, and more. Hours for the daily celebrity meet-and-greet are from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and this event runs from Jan. 29 to Feb. 2 You can learn more about that event here.

Ride ‘N Drive Schedules

Car companies like BMW, KIA, Mazda, Toyota, and Volkswagen will be doing a “Ride & Drive” for specific models of vehicles. This event runs from Jan. 26 to Jan. 30. You can find out more about this event and car makers’ schedules here.

Military Tribute Day

On Tuesday, January 30, the Auto Show will offer free admission to all active-duty military and veterans as part of Military Tribute Day. Must present a valid military ID or DD214 photo ID for free admission. Learn more about Military Tribute Day by visiting the Auto Show webpage about it here.
