Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week is just what we need to get out of the house in this cold weather! Try some of the best restaurants in the DMV for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
People in NoVA love good food — that may be why we have separate Restaurant Weeks all over the region throughout the year! It’s Alexandria’s turn in January, and for 10 days, you can get delicious meals in Old Town, Del Ray, Carlyle and Eisenhower, and the West End for amazing Restaurant Week prices.

WHEN: January 18-27, 2019
WHERE: See the Alexandria Restaurant Week website for participating locations
How does it work?
Search the ARW website by category or neighborhood and browse the menus online. When you find a restaurant you’re interested in, make a reservation.
The day of your visit, make sure you are ordering from the specific Restaurant Week menu. You can, of course, order off the regular menu, but why not take advantage of all the specials?

Are the deals really that good?
Absolutely. This year, you can get lunch or brunch for $15 or $22 per person. Dinners will be either $35 per person or $35 for two at select restaurants.
Just to give you an idea of just hot great these prices are, here’s what I would order:
Dinner at Magnolia’s on King ($35 per person): I’d start with the fig and prosciutto salad, then the jumbo shrimp and grits, and finish with the dark chocolate bread pudding.
Dinner at Hen Quarter ($35 per person): The corn chowder would be my starter, then the chicken and waffles, and I’d finish with the funnel fried twinkies just to see if they’re as decadent as they sound.
Dinner at Hank’s Pasta Bar ($35 per person): I would have the grilled polenta appetizer, then the Ossobucco alla Massimo, and finish with the Tiramisu for dessert.
